Twaithe shad

Twaithe shad are a species everyone should try for at least once in your fishing. They come up into the Barrow every year to spawn from late April through May.
They are like missiles as they take off with your lure leaving you astounded as to the power they can switch on. Be prepared to loose a few also and handle very carefully as they are a delicate fish so get back in asap.
